WPLL to Hold Make Up Games at Loyola on 7/12

After 7/6’s Lightning-Filled Weather, WPLL Returns to Baltimore with Re-Scheduled Games


Command midfielder Taryn VanThof, who will take the field as a pro on her college home field this Friday.

Due to inclement weather on 7/6, the Command v Brave and Fire v Pride games scheduled on 7/6 will be played on Friday, 7/12 at Loyola University’s Ridley Athletic Complex. Command v Brave kicks off at 5:00pm, while Fire v Pride starts at 7:00pm. The WPLL will honor all tickets purchased for the 7/6 game, ticket holders who present their 7/6 ticket at the door will be granted entry to the game.  All fans wishing to purchase tickets to Friday's games can do so here. Both games will start from the beginning.

The 7/12 game will serve as a homecoming for several WPLL players who once wore the Loyola green and white. 8 current WPLL players represented the Loyola Hounds in college: Command’s Bailey Mathis and Taryn VanThof, Fight’s Lindsey Ehrhardt, Fire’s Katrina Geiger, Hannah Powers, and Taylor VanThof, and Pride’s Molly Hulseman and Molly Wolf. Fire defender Maddy Lesher is out this season due to injury. Additionally Brave attacker Dana Dobbie is an Associate Head Coach at Loyola and Commissioner Jen Adams is Loyola’s Head Coach.

Fans are welcome to join the WPLL for an exciting night of games at Ridley Athletic Complex this Friday at 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
